Commando (1975 to 1979) – Vintage Action Man
Described as a tough character with a tough job, the Commando was released in 1975 and equipped with a heavy armory. It is said to be the ideal figure for the Action Man Assault Craft released in 1971. What makes the Commando even rarer as an Action Man vintage collectible is the brown face camo crayon that came with the figure. Although reproduction camo crayons are available online, vintage ones are difficult to find.
Common Features – Commando (Action Man)
- Dark military green jacket and trousers (earlier jackets were zippered with flaps pleated and stitched while later productions had poppers instead of a zipper and the pockets were unhemmed and had no stitching)
